Born June 1st, 1932 in Fitchburg, MA and moved to Homosassa 25 years ago from Manchester, NH.
He was the owner of Woody Electrical Service of Manchester.
Woody is survived by his wife of 60 years Lorraine T. Wood of Homosassa; 6 sons, Norman J. Wood, Jr and wife Sue of Manchester, Wayne Wood and wife Linda of Homosassa, Bruce Wood and partner Richard Gosslan of Homosassa, Douglas Wood of Penhook, VA, Timothy Wood of Goffstown, NH and Scott Wood and wife Cheryl of Manchester, NH; daughter Jane Laliberte of Manchester; sister Diane Waters of Hillsboro, NH; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p. m., Tuesday, Dec. 21st, 2010 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs. Friends will be received from 1:30 p. m., Tuesday until the hour of service. Entombment will follow at Fountains Memorial Park.
