Rosemary T. LeClair (Auntie), 68, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Nov. 17, 2021 at Vitas Healthcare Hospice in Lecanto, Florida with her family by her side. A native of Woburn, Massachusetts, Rosemary was born March 11, 1953 to Walter and Margaret Rinko, the youngest of five children. She moved to Citrus County, Florida in 1984 with her husband and their two children to start a new life. Unfortunately Rosemary lost her boys tragically in their young teens just a few years later. Rosemary was a very strong woman; a fighter and a survivor. She kept going after this tragedy and lived a very full life loving us all along the way. She began working at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park as a boat operator, but a couple of years later destiny led her to her career job as a bus driver for Citrus County Schools, from which she retired after 30 years of service. She loved the children, "her kids", as her own and truly cared about their wellbeing. Rosemary went out of her way to help others and was always picking up things that she thought someone could use or would like. She was very thoughtful that way. Rosemary loved her job, but her passion was to travel, and even while fighting Stage 4 pancreatric cancer, she would plan trips between her chemo treatments. Just a month prior to her passing, she was in Alaska living her best life with family and friends. In addition to her parents Walter and Margaret, she was preceded in death by her loving husband David and her beloved boys Michael and David, Jr. She is survived and deeply missed by her siblings; Walter, Robert and Suzanne Rinko and Peggy Giles; niece Christine Maldonado Hayes and children Antonio, Monica and Andrew; Krystyne Curtis and children Mikaylla and Ava; nephews Brian Moody and Dana Giles and countless great nieces and nephews and so many friends, including Sheila Smith, Rosemary's partner in crime for over 30 years and by her side until the end; as well as Theresa Hanna who was there at all hours of the day and night, guiding her on the final leg of her journey. She will be missed, forever loved, and taken in our hearts on every journey we embark on. We love you, Auntie.
