Wesley E. Brown Jr.

Wesley E. “JR” Brown Jr. 64, of Homosassa, Fl, passed away at his home on January 18, 2018. He was born August 27, 1953 in Muncie, IN to the late Rev. Wesley E. and Geraldine Brown. Wesley was a certified mechanic with his own business for most of his life. He was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed restoring antique cars. He also entered his own 1967 Chevy step side truck in car shows winning many trophies. He also enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, spending time with his family and enjoyed the conversations with the many friends he made in Homosassa. Wesley is survived by: his wife Susan Brown, daughters Deloris (husband Joseph) Barnhart of Beverly Hills, Fl. Sherry Hloska of Cleveland, OH., sons Wesley E. Brown III of New Port Richey, Jacob Brown of New Port Richey, Paul (wife Vicki) Hloska of Weeki Wachee, FL. Patrick Hloska of New Port Richey, Fl. , Scott (wife Sharon) Hloska of Oldsmar, Fl., Joe Hloska of New Port Richey, Fl.: four sisters: Cynthia Higginbottom of Rockwood, TN., Sharon (husband Dwight) Smitthers of Allart, TN., Debbie (husband Glen) Myers of Chiefland, FL., Madonna (husband Greg) Sharp of Kellogg, IA.; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly. Wesley is proceeded in death by his parents, Rev. Wesley E. and Geraldine Brown; brother Kenneth Brown; sisters Rose Brown and Rena King; two brothers in-law; Thomas Higginbottom and Jerry King, and granddaughter Tiffani Anderson. A memorial service will be held at Wilder Funeral Home in Homosassa, FL on Sat., Feb. 3, 2018 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jason Wetherington officiating. www.wilderfuneral.com
