Wilbert Evan Thomas, Jr., 78, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. A native of Kingston, PA, he was born June 7, 1938, the oldest of seven children to Wilbert, Sr. and Marian (Tyler) Thomas. Will, as he was known to many, served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Court Administrator for Luzerne County, PA. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Gloria Thomas, Homosassa, FL; and their three children and eight grandchildren; Denise Thomas, (children Krzysztof, Anah, Mykolas), Kingston PA; Wilbert Edward Thomas (wife Kathleen, daughter Alena Bowles (husband Matthew), Wilbert Evan and Evan Thomas), Fairfax Station VA; Lisa Travis (husband Lee, children Alexandra and Owen), Locust Grove, GA; sisters Marian Lloyd (husband Jerry), Peggy Thomas, Carol Kohler; brother David Thomas (wife Pam); sisters-in-law Janet and Gail Thomas; and preceded in death by two brothers; James and John Thomas.
