ALFRED WALTER SERENO, 85, of Honolulu, passed away January 30, 2013 at Tripler Army Medical Center. Born in California, he was a retired Director of Public Works for the City and County of Monrovia, California.
He is survived by sons, Father David Sereno, Michael Sereno, Dan Sereno; daughters, Linda Johnston and Lisa Jackson; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; brother, Charles Sereno; sister, Marilyn Arado.
Visitation is from 9:30-11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church; Celebration of the Mass is at 11:30 a.m., and burial is at 1:00 p.m. at the Kaiulani Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested. Donations in his memory may be made to Our Lady of the Mount Church, 1614 Monte Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819.
