ALVIN KO KONG YOUNG, 91, of Honolulu, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013. Born September 18, 1922 in Canton, China, he was a retired artist and photographic restorer for many photograph studios on Oahu. He was also formerly employed at the Ilikai Hotel.
He is survived by wife, Audrey; daughters, Andrea Takemoto, Adrienne Palmer, Anjanette Young; 4 grandchildren; sister, Karen Mun.
Funeral services will be at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (2124 Pauoa Road, Honolulu, Hawaii). Public visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m.; Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon. Burial will be at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Flowers are welcome. Aloha attire is suggested.
