Hi Mom. You were my maid of honor on my special day. In Japan and can’t see my in-laws and it feels the same as when I couldn’t see you. Going through photo’s while here, and remembering so many great memories. I live and miss you more every day. See you soon.

Hi Mom, My apologies for not writing sooner since you were taken. I know you are together with dad, Michael, Maire, Jenn, Uncle Joe, your mom and many of your friends. This is what helps my heart heal; knowing you loved dearly wherever you are, and surround with so many who know the great woman you are. Sorry it took me so long to write here.  After a year I still cannot believe my "Rock" is gone.  I see you in my dreams always, and wish I could have saved you one last time.  I wish I could have hugged you one last time to say goodbye. You were taken away from me so suddenly.  While in the hospital, the powers that be would not allow me to be with you.   My life is so empty without you and Dad.  The great memories we shared are always in my heart, but it is still difficult to let you both go.  It was truly an honor to be your daughter, and I was truly blessed to have you both as my parents.  I will forever love you, and forever grieve the loss of you, until we meet again.  Anna

Anna  was a wonderful mother and a terrific, dedicated wife.  She was a woman ahead of her time. I was impressed that given her background and age, she learned Reiki.
I met her later in life but always enjoyed our talks and her sage advice.
She was  generous,  Always handing me a gift she'd made or painted or just something she thought I'd like.  I always did and will always treasure those gifts. 

Its hard to put down the words that your heart feels.   My loving memories of Anna will always make me smile.  We loved going to huge malls on bus trips but had more fun at yard sales.  And I drove a truck!  Will always be grateful how the whole Giunta family treated me as family.  I'm sure Anna is wearing a flower in her halo in Heaven.  Hugs,  Debbie @ front desk,  aka Bubbles

It has been many years since I have seen Anna and her dear husband, but I have never forgotten how sweet, kind, and generous they were to me. I am so sad to hear of their passing. The world was better place with them around. They will be missed immensely.

I knew Anna for 15 years. I always remember her having a smile on her face. She was always so positive. Family meant a great deal to her. My love and thoughts are with the family.

When I think of you I think of my childhood and reminisce back to many happy memories I shared at your house growing up in East Meadow. If I jumped the fence in my backyard and cut through the side street it was only a hop skip and jump away.  I could always make you smile by telling you about one of the many adventures Anna and I shared together.  I remember your long wooden table in your dining room where we sat chatting about life.  I wish I could have visited you in Florida and Hawaii but I am so grateful that we got to FaceTime over the years! I will miss your genuine sincerity, kindness, advice and especially your laugh. Anna was a strong willed women who was not afraid to speak her mind. Quite frankly I believe Anna led me to love the Lord. It was by example she  showed me her faith . Anna treated me like her own  and I will never forget that.

We got to meet the perfect couple at Grandma Dotty’s birthday party! They were a fun loving couple! Always finishing each other’s sentences is what I remembered .  This is where her daughter get her strong willed from, her mother.

I had the absolute pleasure and honor of working with Anna Giunta.  Upon meeting Anna I knew exactly who was in charge.  As she would make sure Ken had everything and was ready to go every Saturday I came to work with him whether he was up to it or not.  But you knew it was out of her strong love for him because she knew everything we were doing was to help and benefit him.   Even when she ended up needing me to work with her as well you could always find her walking in front of Ken and I setting the pace and telling Ken to keep up.  While working with the Giuntas I had my first child, Anna was so happy and excited for me.  She would always offer me parenting advice that I take to heart each day.  She would always ask to see pictures of my son, I can even picture her face right now lighting up.  She would always tell me time will go by fast so treasure every moment.  She treated me like I was part of her family, and I will always feel honored about that.  I want to leave a picture of my son and I so she will never forget us and she can have it with her in Heaven

You where always there for me when I needed you. Without you and uncle keenly I would never have become the person i am today.  You both always believed in me and encourage to go forward.  Your home was always opened just like your heart.  Love you always

Anna was spunky, sparkly, creative, and most of all genuine. She had a green thumb for plants and shared her talent for nurturing humans, too, as an nurse. She made friends easily because of her warmth and her ease at connecting with others. She was also a rascal, which endeared her all the more to those who knew her.

She was a caring mother, proud of her children and what kind of adults they became.

I treasure the times I shared laughing with Anna and Kenneth Giunta on walks, at meals or visiting with them. Code name for them was M&D (Mom and Dad).

Fly high and free as an angel. Please watch over us now as you did in life.


The world is a better place to live in because of you. We never had to  wonder what was on your mind and what you wanted in life, you wanted the very best for all your children and our family and friends. Our home was the one the neighborhood kids all wanted to hang out and felt safe to be at all the time. You were always giving and supportive and helped me with all of my many life challenges and there were many. Thank you for being you and for being the Mom of Moms till the end you will always be an inspiration to me ,my family and to all that were blessed to be be in Moms world. We all have lost a big part of our life and gained so much...just one Sunday dinner and family gathering and all was good.....Mom! you did good  !!! How can I tell you all the ways you enriched my life for 67 years.  You 
we’re my hero. You taught me how to 
be a woman. I can never forget all the weekends I spent at your house in Long 
Island. Uncle Kenny would pick me up 
in the Bronx after his shift at the firehouse 
I was a challenging teenager to say the least. Somehow you were always able to listen to all my woes and have the right words to say to me.  Everyone has a favorite Aunt and you were mine. You will be missed in so many ways. 
I know you are in Heaven right now with my Mom and your sister Gen and of course your beloved son Michael. 
Till we meet again in Eternity with our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen🙏

You’ll be incredibly missed. When we were growing up, we were always looking forward to the weekends we’d spend in the “west coast” with you guys and all the cousins!  your vibrant clothes and flowers you’d always wear was a great reflection on your colorful, and positive personality. Forever smiling and grateful. I love you so much grandma!  

Dear Mom, We miss you so much! Our princess has left us beyond her will, to be with our creator.You are the strongest and most dedicated, loving and compassionate woman I ever knew. You raised Anna (her daughter) to be the same, thankfully. You were there each day raising your four children, teaching us all about how to be good, loving, and respectful people.

 You stood by dad's (Kenneth Giunta) side each and every day for 64 years; the love you two shared was immeasurable.It has been challenging to say the least not seeing you with the flowers in your hair, matching scarf around your neck, and your "bedazzled" shoes. You are a great wife, mother, friend to all, and created a great family. Thank you for being the great woman you are! We love you and will be by your side soon.
