BRUCE KERR PONIAULANI PARKER, 60 of Honolulu, died December 20, 2011 at the Queen's Medical Center. Born in Honolulu on December 23, 1950. Retired Fire Captain with the Honolulu Fire Department--2003; Waimanalo Fire Station for the last 3 years. After retirement from HFD, Bruce worked part-time as a Student Safety Officer at Kalani High School (2003-2006) and Mid-Pacific Institute(2006-1010).
Survived by his wife, Lisa"Puakeonaona" Parker; Son, Kamuela Parker; Daughters, Sacha Silva and Kapualehua Luta; 2 grandchildren, Jordyn & Tydon Silva; Brothers, Glenn, Peter, John and Gregg Parker; Sisters, Gayle Kaio, Lei Niheu and Angela Gomes; Nephews (14); Nieces (9) & Grandnephews and Grandnieces (35).
Visitation 1-2 pm, Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Memorial Chapel; Service 2-3 pm, with Cremation to follow and scattering of ashes on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, Ala Moana Bowls-Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. Aloha attire. Lei welcome.
