Delphine “Fina” Bee DeCoito passed away with angels to join her loving husband, August “Sonny” DeCoito on August 20, 2021. Delphine was the daughter of Henry and Delphina Bee. She had four brothers and four sisters. She graduated from Farrington High School as a proud member of the class of 1951. She worked at Dole Cannery for over 40 years then followed that by a stint at Maunaloa Chocolate Factory on the Big Island, she retired from both.
On July 22, 1955, she married the love of her life, Sonny DeCoito. They went on to have two children, daughter Donna Mae and son Guy (Pauline). She was also blessed with two granddaughters and three grandsons. She was also a very proud GiGi to her great-granddaughter.
Anyone who knew her, knew that her greatest joy in life was going to Las Vegas! She celebrated her birthday every year in Vegas. She was also a very loving and supportive sister, aunty, cousin, and friend. She started dancing hula at the young age of 70 with Ainsley Halemanu and Hula Halau Ka Liko O Ka Palai. She performed with the halau for ten years with her sister and niece in Waikiki by the same banyan tree that her father used to sit under for many years. She was truly an inspirational person and will be missed beyond words can comprehend. She always had a kind word and brilliant smile for one and all that she met.
