

Born on June 10th, 1960 in Iliili, American Samoa to Patelesio and Tauvela Tataipu. He is a proud graduate of Wallace Ryder Farrington High School, Class of 78’. Fagota was a proud loyal servant and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He gave 40 plus years of service to Public Safety Law Enforcement where he was employed by the sheriff’s and then continued on and was still currently employed with the State of Hawaii - DLNR as a Lieutenant. He enjoyed sports, music, nature / outdoors, cooking, spending time with his family especially his grandkids. Fagota is survived by his eternal sweetheart, Coletta Hoonani Kaikaina-Tataipu; children Kamakana (Roseanne)Tataipu, Tessa (Kahikilani) Tataipu-Kahawaii, Meagan Tataipu, Renee (Trycen) Tataipu, Leiemma Tataipu, Lofi (Trenna) Tataipu; 18 grandchildren; brothers Leolofi “David” Tataipu, Poulima Tataipu, Patelesio “Peter” (Katie) Tataipu; Henry Kakatin and, sister Fialupe Tataipu.
