George Kynston “Keoki” Kanekawaiola Lindsey Sr., 86, of Pearl City, passed away on January 16, 2014. He was a retired Fire Captain from Waialua, Molokai. He is survived by his wife Joan (Sniffen); sons George Kynston “Kanekawaiola” Lindsey Jr. (Tricia), Bryan Haleola Lindsey (Lori), Robert Michael Keikilani Lindsey (Nova); daughter LaJoy Anelalani Lindsey-Hanohano (Malcolm Hanohano); 16 grand-children; 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers John “Buck” Lindsey and James “Kimo” Lindsey; sisters Elvin “Maile” Lee, Marylane “Merle” Piper, and Eleanor “Lala” Pietz.
Funeral services will be held on February 21, 2014, at Borthwick Mortuary - Vineyard Chapel. Visitation will be at 8:30 am. and services will begin at 10 am. Burial to follow at National Cemetery of the Pacific at 12:30 pm.
