Gustav Tafu Hannemann, Jr., 78, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on January 2, 2015. He was born in Nu'uuli, American Samoa. Gustav served in the U. S. Air Force and was the Director of the American Samoa Government Office - Hawaii. He is survived by his wife, Lydia L. Hannemann; son, T. K. Hanneman; daughter, Teuila K. Kaimikaua; brothers, Albert "Miller" Hannemann, Nephi P. Hannemann, and Muliufi "Mufi" Hannemann; sisters, Lady Va Maughan and Gafanua B. Memea; 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on January 17, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Hawaii Kai Ward. Visitation will be at 10am and service will begin at 12pm. Burial will be held on January 19, 2015 at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at 11:30am.
