Helen E. Piper

Helen was born in Portland, Oregon on March 26,1923 and passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 21, 2013, at Castle Hospital in Kailua Hawaii.

Helen and husband Bernie, moved to Hauula, Oahu from southern California in the late 50's. Together they founded their business "POI" as independent financial advisors and acountants working with small business owners. They worked for many companies in the Kailua area and the windward side for well over 50 years. Helen continued to devote herself to her profession after the passing of her life long love, Bernard Piper, and contiued working until the last day of her life.

Helen enjoyed reading novels and working crossword puzzles, she loved her basset hounds and listening to classical music. She delighted in going to lunch with friends, and during her "quiet time" she found great pleasure watching a good tennis match of round of golf.

Helen was a wonderful teacher and friend, and an inspiration to many. She was loved by all, and will be dearly missed.

Memorial Service to be held at Kailua Beach Park on Friday February 8, 2013 at 4:00PM.
