Aloha Nanci!  You were one of the best Trainee's I ever had and it was my pleasure working with you.You fought a tough battle and yet you always had a smile for everyone and a positive attitude.  I had always hoped that with all the platelets that I happily donated in your honor it would some how find a cure for you.  I went to donate on 3/23 and something told me this wasn't going to go well.  Something went wrong with the needle placement and they had to stop the machine.  I now wonder if it was your kind spirit telling me not to go through this anymore.  I will never know.  I can't go back for 8 weeks but for as long as I am able I will continue to donate platelets in honor of you.  Your time on this earth was well spent.  You have 3 beautiful daughters and a cutie-patootie grandson.  Be proud of what you accomplished in such a short time.  You will be in our hearts forever.<3

Words can not express the fondess that we shared with Nanci. As a young girl while playing softball in Buena Park to the the present , she was like our Hawaiian daughter who was never far from our thoughts. Our prayers will be for each and everyone of us to focus on the beauty of her as a person and the legacy she has left behind. What a joy to see her smiling face and the relationship she had with our daughter Eileen. God Bless each and every family member and friends that developed that strong relationship with Nanci.

Hey Nanci Jean,

Thought of you today and am so thankful you are free from pain.  You have your wings and I know you will be watching over everyone especially your girls and Ekolu.  Give a big hug to my grandfather!  You are in great company my cousin!  We miss you dearly but you are never far from our thoughts.  I wish I could have seen you but this is not goodbye!  Till we meet again my beautiful cousin.

You were and always will be my HERO. I loved the way you looked at me, taught me things no one could ever, i loved that each time i came to visit you when i left we would always cry and say thank you and i will miss you and love you until next time. Well there is no next time. I'm so glad that I spent the last day and night with you. I didnt think this would come to an end so fast. I will always think of you and still talk to you everyday like I did. I'm so glad that I could make one last dream of mine and yours come true and I loved that you were there at my mini wedding. Thank you for making me the person and young adult that i am today. You have made me such a strong person and I will be sure to one day tell my kids about you everyday and show them all of your pictures and I will definately be a great mom like you were. You are my HERO i will miss you forever and ever. I honestly don't know what to do with out you. I LOVE YOU with all of my heart.

Hey girl, I love the light that beams from your spirit. You are the true meaning of "Never say never, and Never giving up". I know if you could have you would have chosen to be here longer to see your girls and grandbaby grow up..to be around everyone who has loved you. 50 years is too young to have to go though what you did.I remember how we talked about when my mom passed at 50.It was a hard thing for me at 18 years old as it will be a hard thing for your girls too. But I know you are with them,Curtis,your family and with all of us. We all had a moment to stand in your sunlight girl..and it was always warm and  comforting. I will miss your smile and your kindness most of all.You will live a little in each of us forever. I wish more people in this world were like you. Thank you for crossing my path in my lifetime.
