Paul "Sonny" Hanai Nakanelua, Jr., 77, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on May 15, 2014. He was born in Paia, Hawaii. Paul is survived by his wife, Barbara J "Bobbie" Nakanelua; son, Kyle K Nakanelua; daughters, Debbie Nakanelua-Richards, Donie Nakanelua-Kono; mother, Helen Nakanelua; sisters, Helen Lauae Nakanelua, Lynette K Smith of Florida, and Myra Rachel DeSilva; 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on May 31, 2014 at Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Visitation will be at 9:30am and service will begin at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 2pm.
