Hi Dad,
 Wanted to wish you a Happy Father's Day, can't believe its been 3 years already and not a day goes by that I don't think of all the things we did together. Or something would come up and that would remind me of you.  I will just smile. 
 Well Siena finished her 1st semester of college and has done rather awesome.  Nick just finished 7th grade and boy was he having some hard times but he came though. Wish you was here to here him talk about girls. LOL.  He did have an assignment in English and he had to write a poem and he wrote the poem about you. And I wanted to share it wit you.

Family
When I think of you
I see you washing the cars
Throwing the football with me
Playing card games with me.
Your big hands, rough from hard work,
Always ticking me and my sister.

When you started to get sick.
You still worked everyday.
We started to play less football.
We stopped playing cards.
You'd still ticked us with your big, rough hands though
I started to take care of you
Giving you your pills when I visited.
It made me sad a little.

Now your wings have been set free
But I don't see you sick or dying.
I feel you in my heart
Even though we are apart
You protect us all while watching down on us.
Guiding us and Grandma though the highs and lows.

Reminding us to look at the end of the rainbow.
We all miss you.
You may not be near
But in my heart, you are here.
Your smile kept all of us going, striving to or dream goals.
it was always a big one from ear to ear. 

Of course he had to read it to the class and was very nervous but he was very proud that he wrote it for you.

Hi Honey,
Even though I haven't written any messages to you, you know that I'm thinking of you every single day. The kids have been growing up so fast that I cannot believe how the days have been passing so fast. I know you are looking down on them with pride and watching over them everyday. By now I know that you've seen our brother who left us so suddenly but I know you and Mom will take good care of him. Kalani did an excellent job at his funeral like he did yours. Its been over 3 years that you've been gone and it seems just like yesterday that we were together and sometimes its overwhelming for me not to miss you. I try to remember all the happy times and there were so many and that keeps me going everyday. When I see your friends at the bank and auto repair shop I try to smile when they say they miss you so much too. You made me so proud when they talk about you,  saying you were such a good man and the Best Auto Detailer and that no one can compare to you. I know you were always so proud of that. hi papa. its been 2 years & about 8 months without you. not a day has gone by where i haven't thought of you, just constantly missing you. a lot of events has happened throughout the past years.. one being that i graduated high school! i walk across that stage and earned my high school diploma, i worked so hard for. it was during my sophomore year that you left this earth to be in heaven, i fell back in school. without you i didn't want to go & i thought it was pointless to go to school. i feel into what people would call, "the sophomore slump" i fell deeper in that whole though. but i had to finish high school strong and pull myself back up. but during my senior year i pulled through with pride and confidence. i participated in the dance concert and performed in my last high school production, "on the town" it was so much fun! I'm sure you would've loved it. you are the reason i became so in love with performing. i still remember when i told you about the wizard of oz and how you asked if we needed a lion. you made the sound & everything.. i miss you so much. yesterday marked a year working at my job, kamaaina kids. i love it each time i go to work. just working with kids brings me such joy, i put a lot of you into everything i do. you were the biggest child of us all. i don't think I've told you this, but i really want to become a child psychologist. nick is the reason behind it all, being exposed to his disorder and taking care of you, nursing you made me want to help people but mostly kids because i love working with children. on the 22 of august i will be starting college! which also lands on the day that officially marks 2 years and 8 months. i can't wait to start my journey through college! the new opportunities that will open up for me. next month I'm going to take my road test to get my license. i can't wait to start driving legally.. haha, i know that you would've been an amazing teacher to me, teaching me how to drive. and for that i just thank you because with your knowledge for cars i would have a whole of information about them. i want to get my first tattoo, i want it to be of two bear paws to represent you. hopefully grandma talks to her friend thats a tattoo artist or that i get it when we go to vegas in november!  but kayla and kiana want to get the same one as me and I'm sure mama too. but we will see, we all have to talk about it too thats why. but there is something i would also like to address to you, during my last high school i met a guy and I'm sure you would've loved him. his name is shae, he met everyone in the family. everyone loves him and i do as well. we've been together for 3 months now and the love that he shows me is the kind of love you would shower grandma with every single day with. you and grandma taught me a great deal about love. this guy is my best friend, he brings out the best of me and just loves me unconditionally. of course its a bit early to say but i truly believe he is the one I'm going to be with for the rest of my life. he makes me the happiest girl in the world. all i ever wanted after you passed was to just be genuinely happy and i am now because of him. i love him dearly. papa you have inspired me in so many ways, the person i have became is because of you. you helped shaped me and for that i thank you. i am strong willed woman that has so much to give to the world. i was and still am blessed to be loved by you, to have you in my life, to call you my number one. thank you a million times and until we meet again papa.. i love you so very much and i miss you so very dearly. until we meet again..

Hi Dad,
  So only 57 more days till Siena will be graduating and I just can't believe how fast her last high school years have just flown by. Tonight is the start of 6 CPAC shows she will be doing for the very last time. Its called ON THE TOWN and I know you would have enjoyed it. She is dedicating this one to you and knows you will be looking down on her and smiling. 
   Also heard your hummer is off to the state of OK. Like Kalani said It never ran that far, it will be so tired. I hope they give it water. LOL.   Too funny. I am sure it be taken cared off. 
    The whole family will be here in May , oh boy it will be loud and crazy.  
Nick just finished his first season of basketball and he enjoyed it. In fact I did to since its so fast games and season. Yah you and grams were right I think if we pursed this sport on him he probably be a lot better. The coach called him the flying Filipino boy. haha.
   Anyway just wanted to let you know what was happening. Never a day that I think of you and a memory we had. :) Love and miss you everyday! Jamey

Hi dad ! I can't believe it's been 2 years already .  Never a day goes by that I don't think of you . This past year has been busy and it surely went by so fast . Siena's last year in high school and she is doing great . She got a job and nick reminds her all the time that he got her job. She was in a play called pippin and I know you would have loved it!  We went to Colorado for Brittni and jerichos wedding and it was beautiful !we know you were there watching the whole thing !   Nick is playing basketball and  will see how that goes . I think he is going to be a comedian his too funny!  Thinking of you always and forever ! Always watching over mom .... Love you dad!!

Happy Anniversary Honey,
I am going to stay positive today and just remember the wonderful times we shared together. Your grandkids are growing all up and I know you are watching over them like a proud Papa. The biggest event is coming up as Brittni will become a Beautiful Bride in October. How time has gone by so fast, seeing all of them growing up. This will be Siena's last year at Castle and can you imagine she will graduate next year. Nick is continuing playing baseball which keeps him off the Xbox for a little while Lol He also plays it with Ayden which is amazing how they can interact like that through the Xbox. I know if you were here you would just love to watch them play cause you always enjoyed that.
Your little cutey putey Mia is getting to be a World Class gymnast. Wow her energy amazes me when I watch her perform. Little Adrian is getting bigger each day. His mommy Kayla and Aunty Kiana are becoming lovely young ladies And of course Tyler is continuing his Ju Jitsu activities along with football season which will start next week. Of course knowing you, you will watch every move he plays and realize what a talent he is and will hear you shouting from above with pride.
So again I say Happy Anniversary to you and thank you for making me so happy throughout our years and I will remember every funny moment we shared together.

Hi Papa! Jericho and I washed our cars yesterday, first time at the new house! :) I was laughing remembering you and your shammies and how you used to dance and snap them at us. Tried to remember what you taught me about washing cars. You'd trip if you saw all the dog hair in my car!! I try to keep that clean, but I don't think I'd ever be able to get all that vacuumed. It's been a year that you left us and not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I couldn't have made it if it wasn't for our family and friends. How people survive when losing a love one is so hard, no one can understand it till they experience the lost that I am going through. There is a saying that time heals all wounds but I cannot accept that still. Is it because they had never loved someone as deeply as I did. Every day its such a challenge for me to live my life without you. As I sit here, I am listening to Iz singing In This Life and I play it over and over. Then I think of you and say to myself at least you are not suffering any more from the pain you had to live with. You never complain and always catered your life to me ........I am so grateful, thank you honey for loving me so much. So as we celebrate your life today, all I can say is I will always love you.

Papa! You probably already know this news since I have been praying to you about it over the last few months! I finally got in with the school district! Whooo! Hoooo! It took me 1 year but finally got in! You know I am always asking you to guide me and I know you have, especially on the days that I want to give up, I always ask you for a sign or to point me in the right direction and I know you have. Thank you papa! It is still so hard to believe that you are gone, but I have comfort that I know you are still here with us and can hear us. On your 25th Anniversary Brittni is celebrating at the Grand Canyon on a work retreat! I know she is thinking of you also as she looks out into the beautiful Grand Canyon. You and mama always used to tell her that you kept track of how many years you were married based on how old she was! You would be very proud of her, she is doing great things! But I know you already know! Love you papa!

blue van cannot stay running.  Your 56 meter o mileage no work so we  cannot get safety check... the hummer is okay but i think we need tires soon....... o i forgot to tell you, we fix the bed in the truck n got the outlet changed for mama in the kitchen now I'm trying to get her to remove that dishwasher..... the boys are ok just not that busy but doing it not like you but trying i think....... oh yeah question?    Do you want me to do anything this week for you just let me know i miss you papa.....it's not same and you was the only person who knew.......  gosh where are you ......... okay love u to much talk to you later oh yeah I'll try to get that storage cleaned out too sorry I forgot......

  Its still so hard to know you are not here with us and even with each passing day there is not a day I don't have a thought or memorial of you. Yesterday was your 25th anniversary and I always remember how I would have to tell you don't forget its your anniversary and would be like thank you miha. Its not like you didn't remember but I know yesterday you would have like maybe 10 different hallmark cards all over the house for mom and uko millions bottles of her perfume. :) Its so hard to see mom because I know how much she misses you but I try to be very strong for her and think happy thoughts. Because you don't know how hard its for me I tear just saying Pops. I have to have my moments by myself.  Soon her and aunty will go on there trip to vegas like how you wanted them to go and meet there other sister. It will be hard for her but I am glad she is getting away with the sisters. You know I actually had a dream last night of mom being on a slot machine and winning over $10,000. I know isn't that cool . LOL. anyway dad and mom happy 25th anniversary it was a great year the year you got married. I actually graduated, brittni was born and we had the best time in Cally. Just wanted to wish you a Happy 25th Anniversary. It's been 8 months since you've been gone and I can only say it doesn't get easier each passing day.
I try to be as strong as I can, but it's really really hard..............no one can understand unless they lose someone they deeply love......and since the love that we shared was so special it's even harder. Then I tell myself to be thankful that we had all those years together. So again just wanted to say

They say everything comes in threes and I guess that is so true.......It's been 3 months that you have been gone and it still  feels that my world  is so lost without you. I miss you every moment of each day and its been so hard for me to be strong and continue life without you. But 3 special events have happened and made me realize I must go on because I know that you worry about me and I want you to rest assure that I am getting better, slowly . These special events was Tyler getting his Black Belt .........You always said he would easily and that he was always Papa's champion in your heart.  Second was the arrival of our 2 great great grandchild..........Adrian was born and our family got bigger.....Third was the Opening night of The Wizard of Oz that Siena was in. No words can describe my heart beating and hearing you cheer her on from above.......Looking at her brought joyous tears to my eyes because I could see you beaming with pride as you watched her perform your favorite movie. I know you were her biggest cheerleader last night and you felt her gratitude when she dedicated her performance to you. I know when you get so excited yelling out words of encouragement to her and your thunderous clapping. I honestly felt her outstanding performance was due to the love she shared with you. And again just remember I'll Always Love you

Hi Pop, 
It's been 57 days 15 hrs. and 33 minutes since I received the devastating news of your departure and there hasn't been a single day that I have stopped thinking of you. I've never been through something as tough in my 41 years of life as I have in the last 57 days. No words can really describe the emotion I've been experiencing and will continue to experience going forward.  No words can really do justice in describing the gratitude I have for you as a person, man and father. All I can do is say Thank You!!   Thank you for giving us a chance by coming into our lives and being the dad we never had. Thank you for being a great husband to my mother for over 24 years. Thank you for the memories and great laughs over the years.   Although I may not have demonstrated it when I was younger, I thank you for the words of wisdom you gave me as an adolescent, “I get it now”.  We all knew the pain you were going through over the last decade or so and with that said I selfishly thank you for fighting a good fight in order to be with us for that much longer. 

Please continue to protect and guide our family, especially mom. Your physical being may no longer be present but your spirit subsists within us all.  Until we meet again...

Every time I go to Wizard of Oz rehearsals I think of you always. Well, I always think of you everyday. <3 I really do miss you a lot & wish you could watch perform a movie you love. But, I know you will be there in spirit & in my heart. <3 I love you Papa. <3

Uncle, Papa, Brother, Two Bears.  These are the many names I used throughout the years.  I truly will miss you.  Our trips to Las Vegas won't be the same without you.  I felt I belong to your "Loser Club"  Whenever we went around by ourselves, without Aunty (Sandy), we could never find the lucky machine.  But going around with Sandy made you lucky without me.  It was fun times even though I was always a loser.  

Thank you for inviting me to travel with you folks to Colorado.  I had fun meeting your family and had traveled beyond California and Vegas for the first time.  

Your presence is always around us especially at your house.  Told our mom and Dennis to look for you and take care of each other. Bet you guys are having fun huh!

Aloha!, you are forever in our hearts.

As I sit here thinking of you every minute of the day since you've been gone, I ask myself what could I possibly say that people don't know about you. My heart is so heavy with tears and thoughts of you and how I can remember everything that's happen to us in our lifetime.  We were so lucky and blessed to have so many good memories together that will keep me going till we meet again. Thank you honey for being the best husband any woman could ask for. Your thoughtful and caring ways were so special to me, I thank God for bringing us together.
Family was always so important to you and you reminded me never to take advantage of how blessed we are to have a great family like ours .Our children, grandchildren. great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and of course great friends were all so special to us.
I remember the day you were about to meet my Mom and Dad 26 years ago.
How nervous you were................saying I hope they like me and me saying how could they not...just be yourself....they will.
You thought that eating sashimi and drinking beer with my dad would score you some points. Hahaha You hated raw fish, I thought OMG is he really going to try and eat that raw fish to make my dad feel good. If you could have seen your face at that time. I couldn't have laugh so hard......even though I knew you wanted to throw up I watch you grimacing but with a smile.
You started chewing that piece of raw fish which by the way you drowned it with shoyu. Your watery eyes going around in circles with a smile cause it wouldn't do down your throat.....but when it finally did you said to dad ...oh good stuff....he was so happy and pleased..... But in reality you wanted to run to bathroom and wash your mouth out...And when he wanted you to eat more....your face with a smile said no no dad we already ate before we came here...so I'm full already..........you go eat this delicious fish by yourself.
Such a smooth cop out but you did it because you didn't want my dad too feel bad. He always thought feeding people makes them happy. Of course you had help from my mom who said...eh no force him to eat if he's full. Hahaha my mom your savior who became your best girl.
On another visit you actually had 2 beers with D
ad which I thought that was too much cause you quickly get drunk fast...But I only knew you did it because that made dad happy to have someone drink with him and also an excuse for him not to stop before Mom got mad and say enough already. You know you were scoring points with him.
The next time I did see my Mom.she said oh!! San he talks good English yeah.....I had to laugh................ and he's really nice looking too. So of course she loved you from the get go and always smiled when you called her your favorite girl. Thanks Mom and Dad for loving my husband, I knew you both would even though he tried to protect Dad when Mom Kept yelling at him to stop drinking.
Days later you would always ask me.....do you think they like me ....and I said honey...why wouldn't they like you, you are such a smooth talker ...I know that was important to you and thinking of them put a smile on your face everytime.
Of course when you promised my Dad that you will bring rabbit to bar-b-que the next time we visited, made my Mom wonder what kind of Indian. you really were...LOL.But she was a trouper when we did bring rabbit to cook on the hibachi. By the way I got it at Safeway in the frozen section.........don't think we caught on and skinned it..yikes......we not Filipino...okay Geri haha
How I laugh when Mom said.eh .this taste like chicken. OMG ...cause that's what you always told us. I am sure she is with you now and have someone as loving to take care, cause she loved you a lot too. You always knew how much I loved her so I can only think that she's reminding you of what a great daughter I was...Oh of course my other siblings too but since I was the youngest daughter so LOL no offense dear sisters..........But you all know in her heart no one can compare to our little brother Gary.
Of course most of the day on our first Valentine's day apart I constantly thought of you.  I remembered  how you would put a Valentine's card on the bathroom mirror so that was the first thing I saw when I got up...another one in the kitchen..and lastly on my steering wheel of my car.......It's a wonder how you remember to get up at night before I got up to put these cards in place.  You were so romantic and loving and your cards were always so touching....Thank you for always thinking of me I love you so much. 
Since I kept all your cards I will probably read them again to reminisce how my life with you was always filled with love and laughter.....You were my everything and as I hear our song .......remember .I' will always love you

Geri will always remember the fun times he had with you in vegas.. He will always remember you say. " Son don't spend all your money" We miss you everyday dad!! Love you.......until we meet again..

Hi Dad it's been almost two months since your passing. I catch myself thinking of you and wishing I could call you, but I know you won't answer the phone. I look at pictures of you all the time. I know your up there smiling down on us and watching over the family. Everybody misses you so much, wishing we could see you or call you or come and visit you. I miss it when you used to call me miho. We will always have pictures of you in our minds and in our hearts and all the great memories and stories to fill our souls. Thanks for loving us I'll see you again love and missing you........

Uncle Two Bears, Whenever we went over your house, we always had fun. Celebrating Easter, Halloween, Christmas, our birthdays was fun times.  Grandma told us that you were a "Super Magician" at Kody's lst birthday party.  Everybody loved you.  Please watch over all of us.  We really miss you.

it's valentine's day. and i'm reminded of a year ago, when we heard the news that papa has surprised grandma with a new BMW. i was so impressed! i joked "wow, can i be papa's valentine, too?" but in our heads, we heard grandma: "get a grip." and how funny it is that that is on her license plate now. but we know she loves it. :)

it's crazy how much can change in a year.

crazier still, is that it's been almost two months without you, papa. how can it be? i'm ashamed to admit that it's been even longer than that since our last conversation. but i can still hear your voice so clearly. i see your smile in a picture, and i can hear your laugh. i think of you all the time, sometimes at the most random times, and am still struck by the fact that you are gone.

it's valentine's day. and i know you would have done something to make this day special for grandma. since you've been gone, i've learned that you were quite the romantic. i love hearing stories or little details about the cute things you'd do for her or together.

i know that wherever you are, you're sending her your love. please find a way to make this day, her first valentine's day without you, a little easier. please make this day special like i know you would have. happy valentine's day grandma & papa. i love you both.

Papa, everytime I go to your house. I imagine & feel like you will be sitting in the garage watching TV, or coming out of your room to say hi to us. But, then reality hits me when I get to the garage & see that you're not there. I really miss you. I love you. I will see you later, cause I know that I will see you again. ?

Papa....I can't believe it has already been over a month since we lost you....There is not 1 day that has gone by that I don't think of you, or something you have said, or something funny you did....Thinking back I regret not calling you up more to talk story...being so far away...I keep thinking about the last time you came to visit and how much fun Tyler and Mia had with you and all the laughter...Those are Tyler and Mia's last memories of you....I'm so glad that is how they remember you, with lots of love and funny times. I hear you all the time at varies times of day...I hear you say I love you Mija. A small part of me still thinks my phone will ring and I will hear your voice say "get up already!"...I know you are with us and are making your presence known in various ways...Thank you for always being so loving and generous even though you always used to say you were "Mean man" We all know how big your heart was. I know I already asked...but please watch over all of us, especially mom and when you see the young ones taking a wrong path....give them a nudge to the right one...I love you papa.

DAD... I didnt say it enough.. i love yous and thank yours.  But THANK YOU , We were so blessed to have you in our lives ,from day 1 you have given us unconditional love and did so much for us.  I Thank you for all the wonderful family trips we had ,I will always cherish those memories. I know you will be watching over mom because we have felt your presences from time to time. And stop doing all those cars cause it has been raining raining and raining. LOl. Forever in my hesrt .. Missing you everyday! love you Papa ...

It is so hard to let Uncle go, who meant so much to you, me, the family and to so many people. But, to my baby sis "Let memories warm your heart everytime you are feeling a loss, it will bring a smile to you.  Hug KONA .... I love you.

Two Bears was a kind hearted soul. He was someone that I could always count on and was always there for me. Years went by and our friendship grew. You will always be in my heart. Love you man.

From Hakimo Road to The Strip in Vegas, the memories are full of fun times, great food & laughter. As I think about those times it always brings a smile to my face. Two Bears & Aunty Sandy were always so kind & comforting. I thought of Uncle often & would always pray. God needed another angel in heaven to watch over his family. I understand the feeling of loss & I pray God's peace & strength on all of you. I always smile when I think of Two Bears because he always had a big smile on his! No matter what he wanted you to laugh & have a great time.

When Dennis passed away 22 years ago, I am going through the process of healing again.  It was family and friends that lifted my life and so will yours.  Two Bears presence will always be around us.  I do not feel that he is gone and that he is just in another room.  We had many joyous trips that he included me that will always be remembered.  WE HAD FUN!  Just remember that I always will be here for you and love you dearly, words unmentioned.

I can never thank you enough for the kindness and generosity you showed me. For treating me like a part of your beautiful family. Sharing your wisdom as well as everything else you had. You taught me so much...From detailing and work ethic, to having honorable morals and a passion for what you do. your strength and willpower always amazed me. You have always been a great role model and i can only try my best to live by your example. I love and miss you so much Boss.. I wish i could have told you how much i respect you. You helped me more than anyone i have ever known and i will do my best to honor your teachings. I know your spirit lives on and you will always be in my heart...Until we meet again Aloha

Papa, there are so many memories that I have with you. I will always remember & cherish it forever. ? this light represents you, for whenever things are dark & I can't see you will always come to light my way. 
It really sucks not having you here, physically. But the upside is you aren't suffering. Setimes when I'm doing nothing my mind slips on to you & then I come to the conclusion that you're gone, I can't help but cry. 
But, everything I do from now on especially with my plays, I'm doing it all for you ? the one important play for you is Wizard of Oz. I know you will watching in the front row seat cheering me on. I miss you so much. I love you. ?

When I was little, I remember Papa always used to say, "From ashes to ashes, dust to dust. If Grandma weren't here, Papa would rust." I always thought it was silly, because I was young and it rhymed. But as I got older, I was able to see just how much love was always there between them and around all of us. Grandparents truly do set the tone for love in a family, and we're so lucky to have had their example. 

Papa, you and Grandma have told me so many times how proud you are of me. But I never got to tell you proud I am to have had you. I grew up in your heart and know that a lot of who I am today is because of you. It was you who taught me patience and love for dogs, and I still think of you when caring for my boy. 

You are gone from this world, but not from our hearts. I will miss and love you always. From ashes to ashes, dust to dust. You'll always be with me. In that, I can trust.

TO MY DAD RENE TWO BEARS JASSO. YOU HAD THE BIGGEST HEART. YOU HELPED ME IN THE TIME I NEEDED YOU MOST. I HAD THE PLEASURE OF WORKING WITH YOU AND I THANK YOU FOR THE OPPURTUNITY. I HOPE TO LIVE MY LIFE AND BE HALF THE MAN YOU WERE I LOVE YOU AND FOREVER YOU WILL BE MISSED.

Uncle you will truly be missed! We will continue to pray for that god watch over aunty, and be by her side always. I also pray that he be with my friend jamey and the rest of the family....and carry them through this difficult time, and that he keep them all safe.
