Robert Medeiros Ferro, 64, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully on October 24, 2016 at Straub Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Joseph Ferro of Bristol, RI and late Lydia Medeiros Ferro of Bronx, NY. He leaves a brother Joseph (Junie) Ferro, Sister In-law Deborah Ferro of Stuart, Florida, a niece Jane Ferro of Bristol, RI, a nephew Christopher Ferro of Chicago, IL, and four great nieces and nephews. He also had a close bond with the Donovan and Harnois families of Bristol, RI. He graduated Bristol High School in 1970 where he was an all division basketball player and an all-state soccer player. For his athletic achievements, he was inducted into the Bristol Athletic Hall of Fame in 1997. He moved to Hawaii in 1977 where he worked in the food and beverage industry as well as owning his own carpentry business.
