I think about Ron occasionally, as Ron was my manager back in the late 1980s, at HonFed Bank, in the ATM Services Department. He was one of those rare managers who knew how to bring out the best in people, and everyone there loved Ron! He was always positive energy and he often had a funny story to tell or relate to. I recall that he cared deeply about getting the work done right, yet equally, he cared about each of us as people, and that's a great quality in a manager. I learned a lot about leadership from watching Ron and I am proud to have known and worked for him. I feel regret that I did not stay in touch with Ron after I left Honfed, because I really admired him. But I still do admire him, and I will always remember him.
