

He was born on April 1, 1938 in Paoay, Illocos Norte, Philippines. He is survived by his loving partner Shirley Chock; his children: Joel (Agnes): Mara Sado of NV, son-in-law Roger : Alessandra & Jaynalee, Gabriella & Eyzae Puno of NV, James Sado of HI, Amelia-May (Milton): Michael & Winston, Keoni (Katie), Keilana (Vince) Real of CA, Victoriana (Calvin): Caleendrea (Alex), Scott (Danica) & Caden, and Samantha Roldan of VA, Caroline (Gary): Morgan, Liam, Kenzie, and Journey Delanoy of OH, John (Rene): John Randy Sado of HI, and Sebastian III (Candace): Zaylie, Zaysha, and Zabrina Sado of HI; brothers Laureano (Charlita), Oscar (Lily), Gregorio (Eden), Robert, and sister Aida Sadorra Negre. Forever cherished and remembered by his 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nephews, & nieces. Sebastian Jr. was predeceased by his parents Sebastian Sr. and Victoriana Sado, along with his daughter Valentina JoeAnne Aguinaldo Sado Puno. He also leaves many family and friends who will sorrowfully miss him.
“Jun,” “Unko John,” and “Pops” as he was affectionately known was a beloved father, grandfather (Papa Hawaii), brother, cousin, uncle, and friend. Although he received a degree in “Business” he was a bartender for over 35 years at Holiday Inn (Honolulu) Airport Pelican Lounge and Ala Moana Hotel Hawaiian Hut. He worked for ILWU Local 142 as a union employee. He was also an owner of several restaurants. In life he has been known for his cooking, humor, and kindness. Our memories of him and love for him will forever be imprinted on our hearts.
