William Whitford, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather died on December 2, 2011 at the age of 88 at home in Millilani. He is survived by his daughters: Charmaine Silva and Charlene Kawamoto, son Charleston Whitford, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Willie was truly a “jack of all trades” having worked for Borthwick Mortuary, as a Stevedore, a Taxi Driver, a Bell Captain at Halekulani Hotel, at Willows Restaurant and finally retiring from St. Francis Hospital as a security guard.
The family invites you to join them in Celebrating his Life on December 22, 2011 t Borthwick Mortuary- Makai Chapel.
Visitation at 9 am, Service beginning at 11 am, followed by a light lunch before heading to Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery for the burial at 2 pm.
