Mrs. Woodyard was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. John J. Woodyars Ret., son James E. Cardwell and daughter Heidi Woodyard. Mrs. Woodyard was the owner of Crafts, Frames & Things.
She is survived by daughter Carolyn Vell Woodyard of Winston Salem; two sons, John Anthony Woodyard of Panama City, FL and Bobby Woodyard of Hope Mills; five grandchildren, Clint Ray Counts, Nikki Volger, Caroline Scott Woodyard, Anna E. Denmark, Clay Cardwell and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 25th, 2015 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to service (10:00am).
