Ms. Ivey was a member of Green Springs Baptist Church, and volunteered at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by husband, Branford Ivey, Sr.; parents, William and Dorothy Nobles Raeford; and brother, Harold “Buddy” Raeford.
Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Terri Stedman and Cynthia Carroll and husband Stan of Horn Lake, Miss.; son, Branford "Brian" Ivey; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and companion, Ken Ray.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Reeves Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Reeves Funeral Home Chapel.
She will be laid to rest in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565.
