He was born August 23, 1950 in Sophia, West Virginia to the late Raymond Lee and Edith Mae Bell Fox. He graduated from Lewis County High School in 1968, West Virginia University in 1977, and West Virginia School of Dentistry in 1981. John practiced dentistry from 1988 until his retirement in 2014 at multiple dental clinics on Fort Bragg operated by Womack Army Medical Center’s Dental Command.
John leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 45 years, Carol Fox of the home; two sons, Theodore Fox of Dunn and Russell Fox and wife, Celeste of Fuquay Varina; a sister, Connie Armentrout and husband, John of Belington, West Virginia; a brother, Frank Fox of Belington, West Virginia; and four grandchildren, Christina Fox, Evan Fox, Addison Fox, and Chandler Fox.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of John.
