Mr. John Tolbert Patterson, Jr., 52, formerly of Dunn died Monday, October 20, 2014 at his home in Raleigh. John was born July 25, 1962 in Lee County, son of the late John T. Patterson, Sr. and Mary Irene Seagroves Patterson. John grew up in Dunn and was a graduate of Dunn High School class of 1980. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Janet Patterson, one daughter, Rianne Patterson of the home, two sisters, Abbie P. Wood nad husband Steve of Dunn and Annette P. Dudley and husband Billy of Carolina, Puerto Rico and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home and other times at the home of Abbie and Steven Wood.
