Johnny Trent Jones

Mr. Johnny Trent Jones, 61, of Dunn died Thursday, August 14 at SECU Hospice in Smithfield. He was born June 17, 1953 in Harnett County, son of the late David Edward Jones and Ruby Fowler Jones. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Jones. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn with Rev. Johnny Hamilton, Rev. Jerome Pope and Rev. Randy Beasley officiating. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca McLeod Jones, one daughter, Trinity Faucett and husband Johnny of Holly Springs, two sons, Jonathan Jones and wife Manda of Benson and David Ryan Jones and wife Claire of Dunn, two brothers, Jimmy Jones and wife Gracie of Dunn and Ronald Jones and wife Gail of Benson, one sister, Belinda Simmons and husband Terry of Dunn, and ten grandchildren, Jarett McLamb, Ariel McLamb, Hannah Faucett, Nate Faucett, Kaylee Jones, Christian Jones, Collin Jones, Sommer Jones, Drake Jones and Cloe Jones. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home and other times at the home of his sister, Belinda Simmons.
