

Martin Louis Easom, 84, was born March 4, 1942, in Wade, North Carolina, to Martin and Louetta Easom, and died April 8, 2026. He was the youngest of seven children and will be remembered as a hard-working, generous, humorous man of few words who lived with steady purpose and quiet strength.
After graduating high school, Martin went straight into the textile industry. Throughout his life, he was a true jack of all trades, known for doing what needed to be done and doing it well.
Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Easom. He is survived by his children, Scott Easom and his wife, Karen, and Hope Hall and her husband Charles; his step son, George Tarrant and his wife Kristy; his granddaughter, Madison Hall; and his step grandchildren, Daniel and Allie; as well as host of other relatives and friends.
In his personal time, Martin enjoyed working in the yard, finding satisfaction in the simple, steady work of caring for his home and surroundings. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held at Hope Mills Cemetery on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 10:00 am.
