Mary Williams Lockamy

Mrs. Mary Lou Williams Lockamy, age 76, of Wade died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Golden Years Nursing Home. Mrs. Lockamy was born in Cumberland County on June 22, 1939 the daughter of the late James C. Williams & Louise Culbreth Williams-Bergeron and is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Martin Lockamy. Mary Lou was a loving Mother and “Nana” to her children and grandchildren. She loved her community and enjoyed fellowshipping with her Friends at the Main Street Grill in Wade. She loved being part of the “Bluff Ladies” at Bluff Presbyterian Church. Anyone who knew Mary Lou understood her love for Nascar Racing and supporting her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bluff Presbyterian Church with Rev. Herb Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Bluff Church Cemetery. She is survived by: A Daughter: Tami Causey & (husband) Eddie of Wade, NC.
