

She was born in Charleston West Virginia on December 9, 1946 to parents Albert and Mildred Parker. She married Mervin E. McComas on July 3, 1967.
Her love of music allowed her to develop her talent as a pianist and organist. She played piano and organ for over 35 years in military chapels for services, weddings and funerals.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Mervin McComas; two children, daughter Kerry McComas MacDonell, husband Bruce and son Eddie McComas and wife Amy. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Evan Gorke, KayDee MacDonell, Franklin MacDonell and Andrew McComas and one great grandchild Soren Gorke. Mary Lou also leaves behind five sisters and three brothers: Ruth Ann Parker Davis of Allen Texas, Patricia Parker Chapman (Walter) of St. Albans, WV, Elaine Parker McClaugherty (Ronnie) of Hurricane, WV, Douglas Parker (Nancy) of Rochester, WA, Rebecca Parker Wills of Fort Mill, SC, Suzan Parker Schieve of Raleigh, NC, Jeffrey Parker of Raleigh, NC, Thomas Parker (Christy) of Raleigh, NC and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills, NC on Friday, November 17 at 1:00. Visitation will begin one hour before the service.
