Robert Franklin Elmore died peacefully in his sleep after a long illness on Tuesday Dec 26 2023 . Bob as he was known was born in the Massey Hill area of Fayetteville on January 30, 1933. He was part of a big family of 4 brothers and 2 girls . His father was the late William Lam

Elmore and mother was Mary Ruth Elmore. Bob worked for over 50 years at Harrells radiator shop in Fayetteville . He leaves behind daughters Teresa and Wayne Burns and Connie Elmore of Fayetteville , 2 grandchildren Brian and Heather Burns of Asheville NC and Ashley of Fayetteville ,and 4 great grandchildren.

A visitation with family & friends for Robert will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hope Mills Church of God, 4830 Cameron Rd, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A funeral service will occur Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 12:00 PM, 4830 Cameron Rd, Hope Mills, North Carolina 28348. A burial will occur Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Big Rockfish Cemetery, 4017 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
