Thom was a great guy to work with.  He always solved my problems without making me appear too stupid about IT.  He was a great conversationalist too.  I'll miss Thom.

I had the honor of working with Thom for 9 years.  He was a wealth of information and carried a smile no matter how frustrated things might be.  He will always be fondly remembered.

Thom was a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him! I will forever remember Thom's amazing smile, kind heart and delightful spirit. He always had a skip in his step, a sparkle in his eyes and a smile on his face. He had such a sweet spirit and was a joy to be around. Not to mention his computer brilliance. 
My heart is broken for Thom's family. I hope your memories of him will give you comfort in your heart and that God gives you peace and strength during this incredibly difficult time.

Dear Dixon family - Eventhough many of us across the country did not know Thom personally or work with Thom directly, but after reading the touching tribute by his friends at URS, his infectious personality and spirit still continues to reach out and touch many through the heartfelt stories of deadlines and last minute CAD/IT problems and how Thom was always able to jump in and make everything alright. It is clear that he made an everlasting impact on those who knew him, then and now. God bless you.

My strongest memories of Thom, besides him fixing my computer when I was in a panic, are listening to the banter between him and our group's draftsmen whenever they needed Thom's help.  It was always entertaining and made me laugh.  We miss Thom and are sorry for his family's loss.

God speed Thom, you were not only my IT rock but a good friend.  I will miss you smiling face and always positive attitude.

Thom was someone that I met on occasion when I came to Tampa to work on projects at the URS office.  It was always some type of panic and project deadline that we were facing and had an IT problem.  Thom would come in and so casually just ask us to step aside while he fixed whatever it was.  Then everyone let out a sigh of relief.  He always had a smile on his face and kept it light.  I wish the best to his family.  He was a great co-worker and will be missed.

Thom was always so upbeat and friendly.  He will be sorely missed!!

I never knew Mr. Dixon but read a touching tribute to him from his URS colleagues. My dad died of cancer last October. He and Mr. Dixon were kindred spirits; both shared with us their humor, wisdom, and love generously. My heart goes out to all who knew Mr. Dixon and to those who have lost heroes just like him.

Thom was such a nice guy who would go way out of his way to solve your problems, as well as just being fun to talk with.  I always enjoyed crossing paths with him.  I truly miss him and think of him often. My condolences to Thom's family.

My condolences to Thom's family. I knew Thom from dancing before I knew him at URS. He was always a good natured, helpful person and a gentlemen on the dance floor. He will be greatly missed in all the realms he was known.

To Thom's family - I've known Thom for over 20 years now - Always a gentleman, always a friend, always a wonderful dancer, always made you laugh. I know he'll join the Beach Bopper in heaven and we'll see him soon.  May you always find peace that Thom was well loved no matter where he was.

I am so sorry to hear about Thom. He was such a good man & so great to work with. He helped me many times with my computer problems & was always willing to help in any way. The Tampa URS office lost a good friend/co-worker. Please know our prayers are with his family, whom he loved dearly.

Even when I managed to bring my computer to a screeching halt, Thom would fix it.  He always did it promptly and with great good humor.  I appreciated his kindness.  He "saved my day" many times.
I'm sorry for you that he has died.  I'm glad for him that he has no more pain.

My deepest sympathies to Thom's family. I didn't see him every day around the office but when I did see him, it was the highlight of my day. I will miss him terribly.

Thom, may you rest in peace with the Lord at your side.  No more pain and no more sorrow.  You will be greatly missed.  I will miss hearing about the stocks and all the goveronment laws and programs that you were always so very knowledgable about, fast cars that we both loved, fantasy football and well just about anything.  Things haven't been and will not be the same around here without you.  You were a man with a young spirit and we will miss you dearly!  My prayers go out to your family.

My Prayers and deepest condolences go out to each of Thom's family members as they grieve at his passing.  I am privileged to have known Thom both as a friend and co-worker at URS Corp.  Thom was one of those individuals that came into your life as a fiend and left an indelible mark on your life.

I found Thom to be a kind and steady Gentleman with one of the most pleasant, caring, helpful, and cheerful personalities.  He was friends to all that came in contact with him, and he often went out of his way to help his fellow workers out of a bind.  I can not remember a single time, during the years that we worked together, that he ever uttered a cross word. 

I know that Thom is in a much better place now, where he will feel no pain, and he will be looking down from above watching over each of his loved ones.  So look up in the evening sky and you will see Thom's star sparkling in the sky to remind you of his love and all of the precious memories he left behind for you until that appointed day that you will meet again.

Now is a time to celebrate his life and share all of the good, funny, and wonderful times he shared with all.

If we had more Thom Dixons in the world today, the world would be a better place.

Your father always had a smile and friendly hello when we talked and worked together.  I'm sorry for your loss as he is remembered and missed.  My prayers and thoughts have been and are with his family.
