William spent 22 years in the U. S. Army defending our country. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge 902 in Daleville, Alabama.
William is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathleen Howell. He also leaves behind his children, James Howell (Ellen), and Susan Berry (Dave); his stepchildren, James Karathanos (Jo-Anna), Janine Karathanos, and Janelle Karathanos; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
William will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.
