Mrs. Adele Jones

Adele was born 2/24/24 to Paul and Anna Proske in Giddings, Texas. She was baptized on 3/9/24 and confirmed 3/24/37 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings, Texas by G.W. Fisher. The family moved to Houston, Texas. It was there that Adele married Glenn Emery and had a son Kenneth. She worked for the City of Houston and retired after 30 years of service where they moved to Arkansas. Glenn died 5/27/91. While attending First Lutheran Church in Hot Springs, Adele met and married Roscoe Jones on 6/5/98. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Edna Schelnick, brother David Proske and stepson Tony Jones. Adele is survived by her husband Roscoe, son Kenneth and wife RaeDene, with three granddaughters Meghan and husband Chris, Autumn and husband Ray and Kendra and husband Daryl. She is also survived by her sister Irene with nephews Mike and Steve, sister-in-law Louise Proske with nephew Paul and wife Angela and niece Donna and husband Jim Allyn. Also surviving is stepdaughter Robin Wilson, step-grandson Casey Wilson with great-step-grandchildren Sam, Tyler, Austin and Emily. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday July 6, 2015 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathon Beyer officiating. Burial will be at Reed Cemetery in Story, AR. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Braille Workers, Inc. which Adele worked with for over 20 years printing Braille Bibles, or the group of your choice.
