

Benny was born on January 21, 1929 in Scottsville, Arkansas. The son of the late Dessie and Bertie Meeks, Benny was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; sisters Shirley Steller and Georgia Colburn; and brothers R.C. Meeks, Pee Wee Meeks, Kenneth Meeks and Jesse Meeks.
Benny will be missed by his daughter, Deanna Rader of Hot Springs; grandson, Dr. Brent (Angie) Lawrence; granddaughter, Amber (Tim)Ammons; great-grandchildren Charlotte “Charlie” Lawrence, Liam Anderson, Reece Sanor, Jaxon Sanor, and Luke Ammons; and sister-in-law, Gerry Meeks of Eureka, California.
Benny was a “Master of All” and wore many hats because he could do almost anything. He was a wonderful husband, Daddy and PawPaw.
Benny and his wife, Betty, built five homes together in their life. He retired from Hot Springs Village Water Department.
After retirement, he and Betty started their own little wood working business, making all kinds of beautiful pieces.
Benny loved to fish with his wife and grandson on their favorite Lake Ouachita. He was loved by many & was such a great role model for his daughter & grandchildren.
He will be missed dearly!
