Charles grew up in Camden, Arkansas where he played football for Fairview High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was accomplished in many things. After furthering his education in multiple universities he went on to manage a prominent Arkansas manufacturing facility and later assumed duties as the plant manager for Timex in their East Asia manufacturing facility. Charles loved reading, golf, and Razorback football.
He was preceded in death by his sister June Guidry, brother Lee Cramer, and his son Damon Cramer.
Charles is survived by his siblings Ann Cramer and James Cramer, daughter Cathy Cramer Burris, son Shane Cramer, and daughter Tonya (Wayne) Morgan, grandchildren Ben Cramer, Casse Gaulden, Brenda Hall, Josie Morgan, and seven great grandchildren.
