He was born October 11, 1939 in Riverside, CA to the late Roy Samuel and Gladys Jean (Bartee) Jackson.
Dale was a proud U.S. Navy retiree, serving for over 22 years. During this time, he served in the Viet Nam war and was an aid to Admiral Zummwalt, Chief of Naval Operations, during a worldwide tour of Naval Institutions. After his naval career, he earned his associates degree in offset printing and became an instructor at Quapaw Vo Tech. He was a longtime member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church where he volunteered with the Methodist Outreach.
His wife, of 52 years, Patricia Jackson preceded Dale in death.
Survivors include his brothers Bill Jackson & his wife Margie Golden and Donald Jackson & his wife Rebecca; nieces and nephews Stephanie Marie Jackson, Matthew Taylor Jackson, Zachary Ryan Tucker and Kim Reiter; and four great-nieces & nephews.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 am Wednesday, September 27, 2023 with funeral service beginning at 10:00 am at Gross Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
