Daniel Paz Chicas, age 55, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. He bravely fought all his battles to the very end. Between his diabetes, nerve muscle spasms, spouse relationship, and many more health issues that caused him to not be with us today.
Daniel was born on January 4, 1968 in the tropical town of El Puerto Triunfo, El Salvador. He was the oldest child with three younger siblings. Marlen Paz who is second oldest, lives in Woodridge Virginia. His brother William Paz resides in Eatontown, New Jersey with his wife and two kids. Kellin Paz the youngest lives in Frederickburg, Birginia with her husband and two children.
He is survived by his loving mother Maria Emiliana Chica de Paz, his ex wife Patricia Campos; Children Kenia and Emily Paz; Grandchildren "Sebastian Bryant" and Ozara Vanesa Bradley Paz; special friends Don Tono and Anthony Bradley; along with numerous other family and friends who all love and will miss him dearly.
Best known for Danny or Gordo. He could always put a smile on your face. From his funny jokes or exaggerated stories, rest assure you always had a good time around him. He was a loving father who was always the back bone to not just family but anyone he had time for. He was so caring, giving, humorous and charamastics. It was to no surprise he always got along with everyone. He also enjoyed taking care of his Papa Pedro of 94 years old.
He enjoyed the outdoors. Fishing and fixing cars were his go to when his Lawn Care and Handy Man jobs slowed down in the season. He absolutely enjoyed coming home to his best friends (his pets) Shakira, Cosita, and Lucy. If you could pay him to stay home with his pets he would do it in a heartbeat. He also enjoyed gardening. Tomatoes, jalapenos, and cucumbers where his favorite to grow. Building a constructions where also his passion since he loved collecting valuables (aka) junk. Loved going to auctions and finding the most practical and unique things.
Food was also his passion. Daniel Loved to eat! He enjoyed eating and making Salvadorian Tamales with his mother Emilia n daughter Kenia. Chinese food, pupusas, menudo, hotdogs, mangos, and sweet corn tamales were also his go to, to keep his belly happy.He was also an amazing self made employer. He took pride in his work. Also gave many people opportunities to work with him. Don Tono being his long time friend and helper supported him till the very end. Clients were always pleased with his work and swiftness.
In all daniel set a path of opportunities to grow into a future n build a platform of independence. He was a great father and friend. One that can be remembered for his resilience, humorous personality and caring heart.
