Dennis James McNeill

Dennis James McNeill of Hot Springs, AR, died in August at the age of 69. Dennis was born in 1951 to Pat and Jim. He had four sons, five granddaughters and one grandson. He leaves behind his wife, Pam; and three dogs Daisy, Sundance, and Sissy.

Dennis had diverse careers. He served in the Arkansas Air National Guard, owned and operated a life insurance agency, worked with the Boy Scouts of America, retired as a Major from the US Air Force, and contracted back to the Air Force for several more years.

Dennis loved traveling through Europe, sailing, surfing, photography, and flying. He was a natural pilot and could play some mean Led Zeppelin on the guitar. He was a master at cooking everything from Thanksgiving Turducken to the best burgers ever.

A celebration of his life is scheduled for 2:00pm on Friday, October 1st at Gross Funeral Home at 120 Wrights Street in Hot Springs. It will be followed by interment at Crestview Cemetery.
