Diane was blessed with a love for the Lord, an abundance of faith, and a mother who was generous with her knowledge of baking- and a recipe or two. Relatives requested Diane’s German chocolate cake for pot luck gatherings and her turkey dressing was also a favorite.
Diane will be missed most by her husband, Tom Ellis, with whom she shared 47 years of faith, family and love; her only son, Matthew Ellis; the grandchildren she adored, Noah and Aylah; her sister, Faye Hughes; and by Chastity King who cannot be thanked enough for the kindness and care she gave Diane during her transition.
A Visitation will be held at Gross Funeral Home Monday, January 4, 2021 from 5-7 pm.
A Graveside service will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Bismarck at noon on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
