Edgar M. Sharkey, aged 92, passed away on October 23, 2024, in Hot Springs, AR. Born on February 13, 1932, Edgar led a life marked by dedication and service.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Edgar served his country during the Korean War, where he exemplified the values of duty and resilience. After his military service, he returned to civilian life and eventually retired from Moore Business Forms, where his work ethic and camaraderie were highly valued. Edgar was an avid hunter, a passion that allowed him to connect deeply with nature and enjoy the great outdoors.
He is predeceased by his wife of 67 years, Jolene Arnold Sharkey.
He is survived by his son, Gregory Sharkey, and his brother, Daniel Sharkey.
Edgar’s memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and experiences shared by those who knew him.
