It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eric James Braun, 38, of Little Rock, Arkansas. Eric was born on February 17, 1985, and passed away on January 31, 2024.
Eric is preceded in death by his mother, Robin Braun. He is survived by his father, James (Christine) Braun; brother, John (Natasha) Braun; aunts and uncles, Steve & Rene Burns and Kent & Barb Larsen, and numerous cousins.
Those that knew Eric cherished his sense of humor, his compassion, his loving kindness, his keen intellect, and the boundless love that he had for his family and friends.
As a proud tech enthusiast and avid gamer, Eric embraced innovation and technology. His passion for the ever-evolving world of tech was matched only by his love for gaming, where he found joy, camaraderie, and a sense of adventure.
Family was at the core of Eric's heart. He held dear the memories created during vacations at the beach, where laughter, love, and shared moments became cherished memories.
Eric was a man of many talents. His love for cooking, and music showcased two passions that he was able to share with others. Graduating as Valedictorian from Lakeside High School and later earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas, Eric's academic achievements reflected his dedication to excellence. Following graduation Eric attended UAMS in Little Rock for almost 4 years. He was a member of the National Honor Society and a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa.
Eric’s memory will forever live on in the lives of all of those that he touched.
May Eric rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love and laughter he brought to the world. His memory will forever be engraved in our hearts.
A private memorial service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held on February 10, 2024. This service is scheduled for family only.
