He was born October 12, 1937 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Jerome B. & Dorothy Mable (Russell) Dahl. Gary was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Second Baptist Church. He was a long time manager of Burger Chef Restaurant before working with Myers Supply and later as a manager with Service Master.
His daughter, Laura Dahl, precedes him in death.
Survivors include his loving wife, of 28 years, Janie Dahl; nieces Lorien Dahl and Melanie Chournous.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Gross Funeral Home Chapel.
