Mrs. Geraldine Brodrick

Geraldine Lou Brodrick, 79, of Hot Springs was lifted by angels and carried to her Heavenly home on June 8, 2015. Geraldine was born in Hot Springs on June 8, 1936 to the late Rellous and Lona Braughton-Powell. She is together again with her husband, Louis Brodrick. They remained true to each other until Louis’s passing in 2014, after 60 years of marriage. He was the love of her life! She loved gardening (especially growing orchids), traveling, and entertaining with family and friends. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, and loving husband Louis Brodrick, Sr. Those still cherishing her memory include two sons, Louis Theron “Buddy” Brodrick Jr (Tracy), and Michael Warren Brodrick (Cherlyn); daughter, Nevada Diane Hall (Ken); two sisters, Pat Scott and Jose Davis; eight grandchildren, Dr. Zachary Brodrick (Jessica), Chase Brodrick, Amie Vache, Lindsey Henley (Travis), Leslie Myers, Logan Myers, Nick Brodrick (Shannon), and Jake Brodrick; and one great grandchild, Pepper Nevada Henley. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers include the staff of Brookfield Assisted living, Dr. Tim English, Alyson Roberts, The Caring Place, and Dr. Troy Birk. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, June 15, 2015 at First Christian church with Rev. Don Naftz officiating.
