Greg Smith

Gregory Alan Smith 59, of Hot Springs, AR went to be with our Lord on February 14, 2025. He was born on April 15, 1965, to Larry and Nancy Smith of Hot Springs Arkansas.

Greg graduated from Lake Hamilton School. He worked as a welder most of his life. He loved spending time with his family, especially having shrimp boils or a good ole' fish fry. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Boy, the fish he caught! He loved being outdoors!

The highlight of his life was spending time with his son Alan. He truly loved their time together. Greg also enjoyed playing with grandson, Jace and did as frequently as possible.

Greg had a green thumb like no other, growing beautiful plants and flowers that surrounded his yard. He enjoyed growing vegetables for his friends and family. He also enjoyed going to estate sales with his best friend, Gary Love. His animals were part of his family, and he loved them dearly.

Greg is predeceased by his father Larry Smith, mother Nancy Smith, brother Kevin Smith, and nephew Aaron Strickland.

He is survived by his wife Heather Smith, son Alan Smith, daughter Crystal (Joey) Miller, and grandson Jace. His brother, Mike (Rita) Smith and sister Stacey (Bennie) Strickland. Greg also leaves behind nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday 28th, 2025, at 1:00pm in the Chapel at Gross Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will immediately follow starting at 2:00pm.
