With heavy hearts, we share the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and “Papa,” whose life was a true testament to love, strength, and devotion to family. He strongly believed in the power of family and dedicated his life to creating a loving and supportive home. Joe’s stories, advice, guidance and warm hugs will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
He was a man who gave wholeheartedly, always putting those he loved first. As a devoted husband for nearly 60 years, he shared love and laughter, and provided unwavering support to his wife. He set the example of how a husband should love his wife.
Joe was very proud of his three children. He was a steady and consistent guide to them, providing wisdom, advice, encouragement, and unconditional love to each of them.
His greatest joy was being “Papa” and “Grandpa.” He adored his grandchildren and treasured every moment spent with them. Whether he was sharing stories, offering gentle advice, or simply enjoying their company, he created lasting memories filled with warmth and laughter.
As a brother to his two younger sisters, he was devoted to his role as their big brother, providing love, protection and support to them at all times. His relationship and bond with each of them was deep and strong even though they live out of state.
He also found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the water, whether boating or fishing, finding peace and contentment in those quiet moments. He had a passion for old hot rods, appreciating their craftsmanship, power, and the nostalgia they carried. These passions were more than hobbies—they were part of who he was, and he loved sharing them with family and friends.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, the way he made everyone feel welcome and loved, and the way he absolutely cherished and loved his wife. His presence brought comfort and joy, and his absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled.
Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the memories that will be cherished forever.
