Melba Ruth Dunn

Melba Ruth Dunn, 81, of Farmington, formerly of Fordyce, died Saturday, April 15, 2023. Born June 11, 1941 at Thornton, she was the daughter of the late Latnay Harold Miller and Ellen Ruth Hearnsberger Miller.

She worked as a cashier at Walmart for many years.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Bill Dunn; her parents; a brother, Latnay H Miller, Jr; a son, Warren V Scott, Jr; and an infant brother.

She is survived by a son, Latnay Earl Scott of Farmington, a sister, Rachel Purcell of Phoenix, AZ; 2 grandsons, Kyle Scott and Bryce Scott of Farmington; a granddaughter, Sydney Scott of Farmington; two nieces and two nephews.

Melba loved spending as much time as possible with her grandkids. Nothing made her happier than taking them on a picnic or taking them down to the lake to let them swim and play in the water. She loved the outdoors and living in the country. Everyone in her life knew that she loved them, she was a fantastic mother, and she was loved and will be greatly missed.
