Monte Carl Pettiet born January 26th,1960, died March 24th, 2025, with his two daughters by his side at North Little Rock Baptist Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his mother Norma Karen Penson and Monte (BO) Pettiet and Grandfather Carl Pettiet.
He is survived by his former spouse Tara Kirkland, mother of his two daughters Brianne Pettiet Cales, her husband Chris Cales of Vilonia Arkansas and Brittani Pettiet Lujan, her husband Daniel Lujan of Frisco, Tx. He had six grandchildren, Carter Cales, Slade Cales, Jude Cales, Isabel Lujan, Joaquin Lujan and Olivia Lujan and two sisters Karen Duren and husband Gary Duren of Colorado and Kristy Pettiet of Indiana.
Monte was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for everyone. We will all miss his jokes, and his famous impersonation of Elvis Presley. He had an immense love for his family and a passion for the horse races. He will be greatly loved and missed by his family and those who knew him.
