William Douglas Broyles, 76, passed away on May 2, 2025. Bill was born to Clyde and Elsie May Broyles on March 26, 1949 and grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Bill was active in Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He was also an avid golfer and was on the golf team at Hot Springs High School from which he graduated in 1967. Bill went on to attend Hendrix College, Arkansas State University and then Northeast Louisiana University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1973. Bill was a pharmacist at the Veterans' Administration Hospital for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Linda Broyles, his oldest brother, Parkes Broyles and his parents, Clyde and Elsie May Broyles. Bill is survived by his brother Allen Broyles (Nancy), nephew, Michael Broyles (Yvonne), and niece Jennifer Broyles (Ezra). Serving as pallbearers are Allen Broyles, Mike Broyles, Jackson Broyles, Jim Horner, Lex Pruitt, and Drew Stonecifer; honorary pallbearers are Homer Wright, Woody Wilson, and Rodney Miller. Services will be at Gross Funeral Home on Friday, May 9, 2025 with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. and then a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery.
