A memorial service will be observed on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 AM at St. Mark Congregational Church 1914 W. Main St. Schriever, LA 70395.
Alton is survived by his sons, Alton Clay, Jr., Darnell, Shawn, Clifton, Orlando and Terance Clay, eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mary Clay. Brothers; Elroy, James and Melvin Clay and sisters; Sammy Mae Calloway, Emelda Clay Wolf, Druzella Clay Page and Bernadine Clay.
