A public viewing will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. until funeral time at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2020 at Jones Funeral Home chapel, 230 S. Hollywood Road in Houma. Burial will follow in the Combon Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, David Thompson (Courtney), Arthur Thompson, IV. (Andrea) and Troy Thompson (Avante'), and Derrion Moore; daughters, Neka and Sierra Thompson; fifteen grandchildren; brothers, Peter and Ray Thompson; sisters, Jeanette T. Small (Samuel), Ann T. Jackson (Roy), Malissa T. Wolfe and Rosalie T. Little; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur, Jr. and Elsie Mae Westley Thompson; brothers, Johnny and Terry Thompson; paternal grandparents, Arthur, Sr. and Zenobia Tolbert Thompson; maternal grandparents, Eddie, Sr. and Rebecca Neville Westley.
