Betty Kenny, age 59, a resident of Houma, La., and a native of New Orleans, La., died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10:20 am at her residence. Betty was a member of Christ Missionary Baptist Church Choir. Visitation will be Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Christ Missionary Baptist Church in Houma, La., from 10:00 AM until funeral service at 1:30 PM. Burial in the church cemetery. Betty leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Micheal Kenny and Aronderick Washington; two daughters, Tarra Mcguire and Tracey Kenny; four brothers, Micheal Smith, Ricky Smith, Larry Smith and Grerory (Sharon) Smith; six sisters, Bessie Clark, Brenda Washington, Rosemary Castle, Linda Brumfield, Gail Smith and Darlene Smith all of Houma, La; fifteen grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Bessie Kenny, Sr., two brothers, Earl Kenny, Jr., and Bertell Smith; a sister, Dorothy Kenny.
